Shri R N Agarwal, an Electrical Engineer and an M.B.A. from USA, having more than 20 years of experience in the Paper Industry is a technocrat entrepreneur. He heads N R Agarwal Industries Limited as the Chairman & Managing Director, which is considered as one of the largest manufacturers of Paper using waste paper as the main raw material in India.
He has a vast experience in Production, Marketing and Corporate affairs. Under his leadership the quality of the products have vastly improved resulting in it being sold as a premium item.

Evolution of the Group
Shri N.R. Agarwal initially established a 10 TPD Kraft Paper unit in 1975 and second unit in 1979. With his expertise in the field of manufacturing duplex boards, and a vision to be a market leader in this field, he went on establishing 3 manufacturing units of this value added product and later diversified into the field of manufacturing Newsprint. Subsequently, the company discontinued manufacturing of kraft paper due to relatively lower profitability.
The N. R. Agarwal Industries Ltd today has an aggregate manufacturing capacity of 1,30,000 M.T. PA of Coated Duplex Boards and 40,000 M.T. PA of News Print and is among the largest manufacturers of a variety of papers & boards using different grades waste paper as the input.
Implementation of “GREEN FIELD PROJECT” based on 100% recycled fiber which helps to conserve the Indian forests.
Taking advantage of the 95 acres of Non- agricultural land, that NRAIL owns at Sarigam, Gujarat, which falls under the Vibrant Gujarat Scheme, NRAIL has decided to commission a 300 TPD Writing & Printing cum Copier Paper project thereby utilizing an area of around 50 acres, leaving the balance land for further expansion at a future date.
